Daily Meals Improved Family Bonding

Having a meal with your family strengthens members relationship to each others. It is the perfect time to share experiences to others from the whole day appointments outside the house. Daily meals is the time for chitchat, smiles, laughter, sharing and also listening to one another's stories. Today, this is less practice by some of the families and becoming a rarity.

My parents since I was a child always teach us how to eat properly and what should do and not to do while having a meal on the table. We are 5 boys in the family. Our parents teaches us that before taking a meal either inside or outside our the house, we should wash our hands. We should never push the chairs backwards away from the table using our body weight. Always chew the food without opening our mouth or talking to others while the mouth is still full. Only consume the right amount of food we eat. We should also cover our mouth and nose with copped hand when sneezing or coughing and never left the table when there is still food left on the plate. We should also bring our plates to the kitchen after we eat. These advices is still existing in our family today. Our parents never stopped teaching us with these good manners because they are always telling us that we will carry these practices for a longtime until we have families in our own in the future. We were told to teach this etiquette in the same way like our parent taught to us to our children soon. Time spent in every meals increases our food intake and prevents eating disorders. It also opens an opportunity for us to exchange questions and ideas for better learning.

This challenges the families today because of many distractions we are facing. Internet surfing, computer gaming, sometimes influence of friends and other gadgets commonly used today. When we are being too much focused with these materials, we start to skip our meals and t he values taught to us are becoming less important, In order for this not to happen, less time should only permit in using such materials. We should still prioritize what is important to become a better person.https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=adsense&rm=hide&fpui=3&nui=15&alwf=true&ltmpl=adsense&passive=true&continue=https://www.google.com/adsense/gaiaauth2&followup=https://www.google.com/adsense/gaiaauth2&hl=en_US
