Fruits and Vegetables



Do you know that lack of intake of vitamins and minerals in our body produce diseases. Every fruits and vegetables contains different element's which every one of us needs to maintain a good health. These elements are extracted from the earth and with the help of the sun. It is proven that fruits and vegetables are still the best sources of vitamins and minerals.


In this generation, many foods has been created and enjoyed by everyone. Most of this foods are made out of meats. IT is used in different types of recipes that attracts individuals to eat it more because of its outstanding taste. But too much eating of foods containing meats may result to different diseases like high blood and other more. Eating meats are not totally bad in our health. There should be a limit on how much of these foods we ate everyday. In order to avoid unwanted sickness to occur in our body, we should eat our with a presence of fruits and vegetables. It prevents us to have diseases in our body and also helps us to be stronger. It boost our immune system, keeping it active in our everyday life. They contains all vitamins that our body needs. Calamansi or lemon fruit is one of the best source of vitamin C that prevents us from having sickness like heart disease and contagious diseases. Green leafy vegetables also contains high amount of vitamins and minerals. Each one of us should learned its benefits and importance if we really value our health.

Before, I don't like to eat these foods specially vegetables except fruits because they don't taste good for me. My parents keeps on advising me that vegetables are good for the human body. I rather eat more meats than vegetables. But when I read an article on a newspaper containing information's about fruits and vegetables, I was convinced to start eating vegetables every time I eat my meals. It makes me feel stronger and always protected away from sicknesses like cough or flu's.


While we are still young, we should start giving value to our health.
